Getting into better habits

I told you about going to the gym for the first time last Saturday. This morning I got up extra early to go to the gym. Overall it was good. Don't get me wrong. I still hate mornings. Alarm clocks are evil and must die! Realistically, I can't stay up all night like I use to and definitely can't go to the gym late. I live in small town America. There are no 24 hour gyms. I have tried going to the gym in the evenings after work since I got back from my trip and just could never quite make it. Solution to this: go before work. Then if I have to stay late for whatever reason it doesn't matter. And though my legs are kind of sore, I felt better today for having gone to the gym.

Right now I have not been doing intense workouts. Mostly just trying to form better habits. If I get in the habit of going I won't think twice about it eventually. I am looking forward to getting to that point. One plus to going so very early in the morning is there is not many other people there. You have your choice of equipment and you don't have to worry about being judged. Sorry this is short but getting up early tomorrow to workout. :)
